Soft, fluffy, and brushed with real butter the second it leaves the oven. Tender crust, pillowy inside, and that warm bakery smell that takes over the whole kitchen. Baked by hand right here in Tay Creek, in small batches, the morning of your pickup. No preservatives. No shortcuts. Just simple ingredients and a recipe we tested loaf after loaf until it was right. Great for sandwiches that actually hold together, toast that crisps up golden, or a thick warm slice with butter and jam. Order ahead and we'll have yours fresh and ready.
Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie (big)
A big, bakery-size cookie with crisp golden edges and a soft, chewy middle. We brown the butter first for a deep, nutty, almost caramel flavour, then load every cookie with melty dark and semisweet chocolate that pools into gooey puddles. A whisper of espresso makes the chocolate taste even richer (you won't taste coffee, just more chocolate). An extra egg yolk keeps the center soft and chewy, the way a great cookie should be. Baked by hand in small batches right here in Tay Creek. Best warm, when the chocolate is still molten. Try not to eat two.
