Peanut butter and jam, the sandwich that packed our lunch bags long before we could pack our own. Cut corner to corner, wrapped in wax paper, gone before the bell rang. We baked that same love into a soft peanut butter cookie, with a thumbprint of our homemade strawberry jam pressed right into the centre. It bakes down soft and sticky-sweet, best enjoyed warm.
